How do you change the sound balance on programs

Lately i'll had to do a lot of multitasking, due to outside factors. And, i've been listening to multiple things at the same time. but, trying to differentiate between the two programs is very hard. So, i'm looking to separate the sounds on different programs (one in each earphone or something). i can only do it for the entire system -see pics.
