Was just looking at ad of some new Logitech mouse and during one feature review I was like: "Wait, that was my idea for a project few years ago".

Here the link:

Is it first mouse to do this? or there were some before? To allow connect wireless mouse to PC (to recharge and to send data).

I've been thinking about something like that for a while as well. I hadn't seen any like it and was beginning to wonder if I would have to build it myself.

I'm considering getting that mouse if I can muster up the funds. I've never been disappointed by logitech hardware.

What? A wireless mouse that also can be plugged in? I got one a few years ago for Christmas.

In mine, though, the chord doesn't plug in, rather it is hidden under the top half of the mouse. I take off the shell portion, unwind it and plug it into the USB transmitter I have to plug in anyway to use the mouse.

Handy for when the batteries are dying, or I want to tether it to my laptop because I keep dropping it off the couch ;)

It definitely is not a gaming mouse, though.

yes, its good to have when your battery is dying. I hated when I had to constantly stop what I was doing and wait for the mouse to get some juice (which I used rechargeble mouse).

What is ths name of yours?

This is my mouse, I think. It looks like this but this may have been updated since I got mine years ago.

It runs on 2 "AAA" batteries, and the transmitter fits in the bottom side of the mouse for easy storage.
