Please help to open 3G modem. There is program which intended to use this modem. I want to copy linux folder from there.

your post is not quite clear

are you trying to copy or install the files that are on the device / software that runs in windows , these will not run on Linux, unless there are some files specific to and labelled (Linux)

so can you explain in detail

does the device work at present yes or no

if device Not working , please post details of Ubuntu version
and what you have tried to get the device working

if device working are you trying to install software for sms texting,etc

The device is working properly. I can connect to the internet with standard resources in ubuntu 10.04 by using this modem. But I want to open modem as usb flash drive, because there is a software for sms texting, etc. There are 3 types for that program, one for windows, one for linux and one for mac. All that 3 folders are in that modem's memory.

not be an easy task

for sms texts,try wammu it should be available in synaptic pkg manager

once installed it should be available from the menus

you mention " etc " , is there anything specific to the etc.
