Hey guys I'm intending to buy a new laptop (HP Pavilion dv6-3125sa)
here (http://h40059.www4.hp.com/uk/homelaptops/product.php?id=XE009EA&experience=direct) you have the link to the Hewlett Packard's site where you can see some specifications for that laptop.

My questions are:
-Do you recommend installing Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop Edition on that machine?
-If so, which problems am I going to possibly have to face? If this problems have been already solved for some other similar HP Pavilion laptop models please post a link.

Thanks in advance!
Carlos

I've got dv6-3181ss + Ubuntu 10.10:

Two problems I already fixed googling:

- Touchpad right button doesn't work.
- Ugly plymouth (text mode) after installing ATI propietary drivers.

Everything seems to be OK, but I need to test more intensively.

Regards.
