Do you think that Wine or Ceega will be able to run this if i download it?

Wine should probably run it.

Though im not sure if Planetside is still an active community or not. Last I heard is was pretty much a dead game.

cedega loaded it fine, no tweaking or such.

hi guys, im having a weird one.

planetside is installed on my 'games' partition from my winXP system. i use cedega to point to that installion and most of my games work that way instead of requiring me to do a fresh install on ubuntu.

anyway.. when i tried to run it first time it asked me to use the sont launcher thingy located elsewhere. I've re-pointed my shortcut to the launcher (checking against my XP shortcut to make sure) but when i run the executable - it loads but the launcher isnt.. well.. the right one. it seems to be some older version of the launcher which doesnt enable me to start Planetside.

any thoughts? thanks.
