Hi
Just got a Hannspree Hannsbook 12" laptop on which I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 10:10. The laptop has a built-in bluetooth module but when I access the BT applet I'm told that there is no BT adapter plugged in.
On the base of the unit it says that the BT module is an Atheros T77H056, and it works under Windows 7 - but who wants to use that?
When I try an ITON BT mouse which has a USB BT dongle, Ubuntu detects it no problem.
Any ideas how I can get the built-in module working?

Thanks in advance

Same situation here. To be fair to Ubuntu though, I have tried something like 5 distros, and none of them fared any better.

I hear that this T77H056 module is also known as AR3011.

Ah well, not to worry if it's a general problem. Maybe a later kernel will support the chip. I only wanted it for the bluetooth mouse anyway - I'm getting by with a USB mouse.
