Hi guys,
I'm getting interested in Ubuntu Software Center and had an idea to 'pretty it up' a bit, specifically when viewing screenshots of programs. Currently, a separate gtk window opens up, and as a web user, when clicking on a screenshot I just expected something a bit more elegant.
I've done a quick gif animated mockup of what I have in mind and just wanted to open it up for discussion and expansion.
I'm currently submitting it as an idea on ubuntu brainstorm.
I know it's written in python/gtk so not sure about the possibilities of doing something like this without additional capabilities, but the current gtk window that opens up just doesn't feel very polished.
