I am getting a new motherboard and cpu. The motherboard has integrated graphics which is the GeForce 6150. Now, I know this is not the best graphics, and with it being integrated makes it even worse. But with that said, the machine I am building is only going to be used to surf the web, email, word processing, etc. Will this card be adequate to run some of the extra visual effects that comes with Ubuntu? If not, is there a CHEAP (I mean like less than $30) card that I could buy that would be better for me.

Thanks

Tim

I built a machine for my dad (who only surfs the web, writes, etc) and it has the same inbuilt graphics - works a treat, you get compiz and stuff, video performance is very good - Just make sure you get a gig or so of extra memory, the more memory you can give to it, the better. Hope this helps.
