Im an ubuntu veteran of all of 2 hours and looked around the forums for a torrent client. Ive come from XP and just went to the ktorrent site expecting the usual click, click, click, wait, done affair but no, im given a scary list of what looks to my untrained eyes as code. Could someone kindly tell me step by step exactly what i need to do please?

On a separate note, is there a way i can install codec packs like CCCP on here and if so maybe another step by step? I know im asking a lot but i really am stuck. Thanks in advance

If you installed Ubuntu, you already have a torrent client called Transmission. But Ktorrent is a good app too.
