how to delete rhythmbox totally from Ubuntu

How do I remove rhytmbox. I cannot remove and reinstall some plugin that are not working right. They need root permission. How can I remove the program from the roo and start over.

Have you tried the following command in the terminal:

sudo apt-get remove rhythmbox
