Not really a tech-type person, and not specifically a Ubuntu question, but thought I would throw it out there for you all. Mods apologies if you think I have posted in the wrong board - it seemed Absolutely a Beginner question to me...
I run a small consulting firm, which has about 10 workstations in it. It's a new-ish company, and we are about to buy our first fileserver.
Basically all it has to do is share two printers and host files for our network - nothing more sophisticated than that. No mail or webhosting, nothing too complex...so any suggestions on how to spec it? Will use a neighborhood IT store to build to order rather than a branded box. We are a small business, so bang for buck will be super important to us...
