Excellent people from this forum,

Is it possible record an additional file in an already burned DVD-R which
has available space?

I have in my 10.04 the following programs:
DeVeDe DVD/CD Video Creator
dvd::rip
GnomeBaker CD/DVD Writer
Brasero
Thoggen
Ripper X
Xfburn
Kiso

If 'yes' does anybody have a step-stile cookbook how to do this?

Best regards
Jaraqui

Don't think so.
It's a writable disc. DVD-R
Not a re-writable disc DVD-RW

I think that it would depend on how you burned the original data. If you finalized the disk, nothing else can be added. But if you left the disk "open", you can add additional data using the same burning program you used to make the disk in the first place.

Brasero asked me through a checkbox. I andwered 'yes' checking
this item, telling not to finalize the DVD-R.

But, in a first view, I didnīt find an option that I can insert
new files.

Is it a command line?

you shoul dbe opening the DVD and then add files to your current DVD.

I think K3B looks more like Nero (i currently use). Havent tried to burn a DVD in Linux yet, but it (K3B) should be able to recognise current DVD and then you could add files to current compilation.
