One thing to try is at the GRUB screen, which lists all of your kernels, is to hit the 'E' key on whichever is your default kernel. Find this line:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

Change it to:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="splash"

That way you can find out exactly where it is rebooting at/getting hung up at. This is called 'verbose mode' and it allows you to see a bunch of boot up text on the screen.

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

You need to provide us with more information please.

Is this a Wubi install or to the hard-drive?

What graphics card do you have?

Were there any error messages?

I recommend you boot from a LiveCD and post the results of the boot info script linked at the bottom of my post.

Thanks.
