hi,
I will wonder if help me...
while i want to compile a .tar-ball file, it gives error on g++ or gcc library while making. and i'm trying to install library but each library depends on another one, driving crazy.
Do you know any complete g++ and gcc library and compiler which doesn't have any satisfiable dependency on any other library or file?
i don't have internet connection and i use internet through windows with dial-up connection.i use ubuntu 10.10.
thanks,

Did you install build-essential? I know it gives all kinds of things for compiling/making.

Not sure where your libs are coming in at either - perhaps you need to look at the package config you can use with gcc and g++ to gather the lib paths, etc. (I forget the name of that right now, but someone else will know what I'm talking about).
