Hello, quick question. The issue is that everytime I plug in the laptop charger, it dims the screen more. I even tested it to see how dim it goes. It starts off at 100% plugged in, I remove it then plug it back in, then it drops lower, and if I keep doing this it'll eventually hit the dimmest setting. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I just want the brightness to stay at a constant %, whether plugged in or not. I did not have it reduce backlight brightness on battery, or any of those power management options.

You could do well to post the make and model, as this may be specific to a particular range of hardware.

For my netbook (Acer Aspire One) the screen gets brighter (apparently by design) when the charger is connected.
