Hi guys,

I am in the market for a decent USB Wireless Adapter for Ubuntu 10.10

I just wondered what USB adapters everyone is using? Just hoping to get an idea of the better ones that people use.

Thanks in advance

I can tell you what not to buy. I just got 3 ASUS N13 USB adapters and right now I got none working out of 3!!! The package says that it's Linux compatible but if you search here you will find that they are a PITA to get working and are anything but Linux friendly!

Whatever you decide to buy make sure you search here FIRST to see how much trouble others have had with that model. Wish I had done this BEFORE I bought mine.

I don't use any usb adapters, nor, in fact, know anyone who does. What makes you think everyone uses, let alone using them?;)
Anyway, check out the community database.

Oddly enough, my ASUS usb-n13 is working just fine in 10.10.;)

Just got one of these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833130061) from newegg and works out of the box.
