Doesn't that defeat the purpose of TOR?

Well, we should at least have that option. And TOR is open source, so how hard is it to add such a feature?

We should that option exist? It's completely useless when considering tor's purpose.

Regarding the code; do you know how to program?

Uhmm, the linux mentallity. If a function is useless to you, then ignore statement as invalid, else post rhetorical questions..........

I'm gonna hire a real coder if such an option is possible.

Not the case; you are asking if you can password protect an exit note on a public network; are you sure you don't just want to create a private proxy?

While it might be possible, you might well end up causing problems for other tor users. Have you asked anyone at the tor project?

P.S: It wasn't a rhetorical question, was it? (that was).

Also, regarding the Linux mentality:

Delete Win7: Problem solved.:D
