Hello,
I have Windows7 and Ubuntu 10.10 installed on my laptop.
And I always had some trouble with my wireless connection.

To solve this, on windows I changed some values in the wireless driver on device manager.
these values are: wireless mode, preamble mode and roaming sensitivity level
then it works fine

But in Ubuntu it is still not solved :(
I downloaded the device manager package for Ubuntu, located the device, but I cant find where I change these values, (I don't even know if it has the same name in Ubuntu)
and when I try change some value, it does not even save.

Can anybody help me?
Thanks.

You can not change things in Device Manager. It has to be done as module (driver) options.
The options you set in windows may not be available in the ubuntu module.
What wifi card do you have ?
