Hey,
So I've been searching the forums and I do not understand how to do any of the recommended suggestions and it's really hard to understand because so many different posts say so many different things.
I have Ubuntu Netbook 10.04 on my Netbook right now and I cannot get wireless working.
wlan0 shows me RT2860 Wireless
Also, I had an issue with Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 and shutting down but the internet worked fine. Does anybody know if they've solved the hardware compatibility issues in 10.10? Because I could just download that to avoid having to fix this wireless issue.
Either way, I've been trying tirelessly for a week now with many different Ubuntu Netbook versions just trying to get it to work. I'm a newb and it's really stressful and I'm close to giving up, but don't want to.
