After installing Kubuntu 10.10 last night, on first boot and then logging in there were two folder-like windows open, but no main widget bar on the bottom. What is the easiest way to reset the Desktop and correct this?
Also my resolution on this laptop (a Sony VPCF115FM) is 1920x1080.
It claims to be using that resolution but when I added a widget bar to the screen (added it at top) it seems like there is 80 to 100 pixels that are offscreen right. How do I shrink the desktop up a little? or correct this? I'm sure if I could fix the first issue I could then attach a screenshot.
