Hi all, I was trying to get a screen magnifier working for a presentation. I enabled orca but it didn't work well. It magnified way too much and some elements came up really pixelated. So I started using another program (kmag) and everything was fine until I rebooted. Now at the login screen the right half of the screen is magnified (far too much) and is sometimes just black. How do I disable this?

Another thing... I wanted to take a screen shot of the login screen but it doesn't seem to work! Any ideas?

Why not just uninstall it? As you said Kmag works better and isn't unruly.

I have the same problem. However I never had kmag installed, only orca. I uninstalled orca and restarted the system and the right side of the screen is still half filled by the magnifier until I login. After logging in, everything seems to work fine.

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 (although when I went to verify version on System/About Ubuntu, it showed Ubuntu 11.04 with a release date of April 2011 (2 months from now?!?))

UPDATE: Found this post which solved my problem http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1676058
