My iPhone is recognized by Rhthymbox, but not Amarok. When I plug in my iPhone to my laptop via usb, the mount icon appears on the desktop. I can start up Rhthymbox and that program recognizes the iPhone no problem. However, when I start up Amarok, not only does it not recognize the device, but it also REMOVES the mount icon from the desktop. If I start up Rhthymbox again, the device is unrecognized. I have the unplug the iPhone and then plug it back it for the mount icon to come back. Does anybody know what is going on here? Some direction would be great.

I am running ubuntu 10.10
iPhone 3G with firmware 3.1.2
Amarok 2.3.1

Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I jail broke this iPhone about 6 months ago, or whenever they came out with firmware 3.1.2, as I have not updated the firmware since.

I just want to get my tunes going on my newly installed ubuntu linux...
