Wireless networking slowdown in past 4 days...

Please help! I cannot figure out why my wireless connection is so slow now. My laptop works fine when using Vista but cannot seem to break 70 kB/s when in Ubunut 10.04. This is a new issue and terribly bothersome. Any suggestions?
