I have two RFID barcode printers that I need to develop some sort of print driver for or if anyone knows where I could get a print driver for the following printers that would be great.

Zebra RZ400 or Intermec PM4i printers.

If not I will need to develop my own and I have never done this before. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good book or tutorial on how to write my own driver for Linux. I know it is using CUPS, but I don't know much else. I looked at several web sites on the subject, but it was not that clear on how to do this. I do have a programming background though I have never programmed in Linux before.
