Hello,

I recently installed 10.10 on my ibook g4 and I am wondering if I am having video driver issues.

When I run glxgears I get around 375 frames for ~75 fps. This changes a lot depending on what else I am doing on the computer. I am wondering what others get for their fps with glxgears so that I can compare myself with them. I think others are getting around 700 frames with the same specs.

vendor: ATI Technologies Inc

Let me know what y'all think.

EDIT: Some numbers:

user@home: glxgears
422 frames in 5.0 seconds = 84.389 FPS
468 frames in 5.0 seconds = 93.385 FPS
468 frames in 5.0 seconds = 93.423 FPS
393 frames in 5.0 seconds = 78.563 FPS
370 frames in 5.0 seconds = 73.901 FPS
409 frames in 5.0 seconds = 81.743 FPS
390 frames in 5.0 seconds = 77.867 FPS
391 frames in 5.0 seconds = 78.168 FPS
232 frames in 5.0 seconds = 46.324 FPS

user@home: glxgears -fullscreen
62 frames in 5.0 seconds = 12.342 FPS
64 frames in 5.0 seconds = 12.799 FPS
64 frames in 5.0 seconds = 12.751 FPS
64 frames in 5.0 seconds = 12.788 FPS

Bumping this. Does anyone out there with a ibook g4 get better performance than the numbers I have listed above?
