Hello all.

When I decided to install GNU/Linux on my PowerBook G4 12" I did the obvious thing and tried a few distro's one, of which was Fedora Core 11. Fedora had a really neat little trick up its sleeve it, would indicate hard drive activity on the front LED which is the only LED on this lappy. The LED is located on the screen latch.

Now my question is does anyone know a way of doing this in Ubuntu?

Thanks. ayenack.

Anyone got any ideas on this?

I would ask the people at Fedora's forums how they achieved it.

Yeah, think I'll give that a go.

There's a few apps in the repo's for controlling LED lights on keyboard and such but can't work out to get them to control the LED on my mac.

Thanks anyway.
