I'm having a problem booting 10.10 from either the livecd, usb or upgrade from 10.04. It boots fine on my pc, but my laptop won't boot. So what's the problem and how do I fix it? nomodeset, radeon.modeset=0 doesn't work, or maybe it does. It boots into a command line, but I wouldn't know what to put in to get it to install the right things.
10.10 is currently installed if I can work directly with that. Like I said, I upgraded in 10.04.
Please help! I'm really tired of this not working and I want it to. D:
