Hi,

I'm using af combination of a gnome-panel in top of my screen and some docks in buttom and sides (docky).

Docky's hide option I have set to 'Dodge windows', which means that it is visible all the time except when there is a window overlap, then it autohides.
The thing is, I'm missing a similar feature for gnome-panel. Currently it is set to autohide, but it would be nice if it didn't hide when I'm not using the top part of the screen...

Is there a way to accomplish this, or should report it as a bug/feature request?

Old thread closed.

@airinuxazis, please start your own new thread stating which version of Ubuntu you are using. The answer will probably differ depending on whether you are using a version based on gnome2 or gnome3.
