Taskbar Problem

So I installed Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 Version, and the install went fine, but when i logged in, the page was blank, besides the shadowy parts at the left and top, i clicked around and opened Mozilla fir-fox to ask the the answer.

Please help, quick
