Hi,
I've installed Ubuntu 10.04 (from a Canonical CD) in my Asus X50SL in a separate partition and the installation was succesful.
But, the Ubuntu 10.10 is out and I can't upgrade to that version. I go to Update Manager and in the options it's selected to update to newer versions and I click in "Check" and it says that my Ubuntu is updated, but it's not.
Another problem is in the sound. The sound works great, but the mic don't. It does some electrical sounds and the other people don't ear me correctly.
The final problem is in Caps Lock. I write the upper case letters with Caps Lock, instead of Shift. But, when I write fast, it appears two letters in upper case, it's like the Caps Lock has some lag turning off :S LIke THis :S
Help me, I'm really interested in start using Ubuntu in a daily-life basis.
