Hi everyone, Could anyone please tell me if, since ubuntu 10.10 does not come with GIMP, is that because GIMP is not compatible with 10.10?

Can it be down loaded and installed seperately?

If not is there another equivalent program that will work with ubuntu?

Doers anyone know why GIMP is no longer included with 10.10

Thanks for any replies.

It's in the Software Center, and it works perfect on 10.10. :)

As someone earlier stated it's in the software center. Or "sudo apt-get install gimp"

The reason it's not on the cd by default is because a lot of people don't need an image editing tool as complex as Gimp, so they took it out to save room on the cd.
