I just installed 10.10 64-bit on my laptop and I am getting an error on startup that flashes for just a second or so. After a few times, I've deciffered that it says something like:

modprobe FATAL ERROR failed to load /lib/modules/2.25.35-22-generic/modules.dep file does not exist

But the file exists.

I've tried re-installing the headers but no joy. I can't seem to find any other solutions. Any ideas?

Its a bug shouldn't effect your PC tho more of an annoyance

I have the same error and I can't get to a desktop or GDM - I assume that the error is more than an inconvenience.

EDIT: Actually, my boot issue was seperate. I jumped the gun on that one.
