Hello people,

I'm a complete newbie at Ubuntu, I've managed to get my WPM111 wireless card working (It's a miracle!). But there's one persistent problem (Happens every time I use Ubuntu), after about an hour or two, the thing just stops working. The light isn't blinking and It doesn't show up under network connections. The odd thing is, ndiswrapper (Windows wireless drivers) says it's plugged in and recognized, but Network Connections won't let me search for Wireless connections. Was it because I deleted the netwpn111.inf file?
I'm completely lost and would love If one of you Gurus could help a clueless Newbie like me.

Thanks in advanced.

netwpn111.inf I think thats the driver file ndsiwrapper uses to drive the wireless efoort...might have something to do with the disfunctionality

From my limited understanding of ndiswrapper, deleting netwpn111.inf shouldn't be a problem. Try doing everything again, following the instructions here (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-wireless-networking-41/getting-netgear-wireless-usb-dongle-wpn111-atheros-chipset-to-work-on-ubuntu-6-06-a-515914/).

Thanks, I tried that but alas, It continues to stop working randomly. :-s
