Hi All

I am having an issue with the standard ATI Driver for 10.10 64-bit. I am running AMD Phenom II 3.4ghz, 6gb DDR3, ATI 5850.

When ever I want to open the ATI control center of VLC, as soon as the mouse touches the window, I get logged out, there is no error message or anything.

I uninstalled the driver, and everything works now, but now I dont have the full use of my graphics card, and can't enable any advanced video effects, or run any 3d applications.

Any ideas/work arounds for this error?

which driver version did you have? did you install the latest that was made for 10.10?

managed to solve the issue. If you un-install the propriety driver and then run the update manager, before re-installing the propriety driver it works if you don't activate x-cinema. You can change anything, but if you activate x-cinema then it starts getting buggy again.
