My mom got a printer today. It is a brother HL-5370DW. she has been on the internet trying to find out how to get a driver for it for our computer that uses ubuntu.
she gave up but she said I could ask you here.

I am taking a computer class but we have not had anything about printers yet. I can follow directions very well and I love computers so I will keep trying.

I need very clear directions. Thank you.

I am surprised it is not in Ubuntu's brother drivers when you install printer thru System/Admin/printing and add a printer.
I did not know if you were using 64 bit or 32 bit Ubuntu.
If 32 bit use gdeb package installer in system tools. Add it with main menu in System/Preferences if not in system tools already.
Do check again to see if driver is there when going thru installing printer.
