Yaarrgh, i've been trying to get my wireless connection working and my next step I think, is going to be to get a BIG hammer!!

I've got a Belkin USB network stick now. I finally managed to get ndiswrapper to install and, using that, was easily able to add the driver from the cd that came with the stick. Now, however, it tells me there's no hardware for it. The USB stick is sticking right there in my laptop! I've plugged it in and out, restarted the computer several times, with the stick in or out, but nothing.

Can someone PLEASE offer me some easy to follow advice? I'm at my wits end this has taken me a week to get this far and I spent all day saturday working on it. I've purchased 3 different usb network sticks to try now, and no luck.

Did you use the XP driver and was it the correct version--32 bit or 64 bit?
