Just got a new laptop with Win7 and downloaded Ubuntu 10.10 to do a dual boot. Ran through the graphical installer setup my partitions and either I missed it or it did not give a choice of where to install Grub2.

Everything is working fine but of course Grub is my boot loader for Windows and Ubuntu which I do not like and never install that way. I have just had too many problems so I normally use EasyBCD.

So the question is, did I just miss the option to install Grub2 on the partition where my root is or did this option change? The last version I used was 9.10.

Thanks.

It's now only available if you choose manual partitioning. It's a the bottom of the page where you select/change partitions.

Yeah I missed it, thanks.
Sadly I did the manual partition but I was expecting to be on the following screen. Reinstalled and dual booting now!

Thanks!
