Hi All,
I am looking to hire someone from the Manila area for a full time freelance position.
I need an advanced CSS coder. (Later as the company evolves php skills if you have them could come into play but for now, just CSS and HTML)
We have developed our own inhouse framework for WordPress we use to develop sites for our clients.
You will be expected to come into our office for fully paid training to our Las Pinas office for the first 6-8 weeks while you are trained on WordPress and our framework. After that you will be working from home.
Note Knowledge of WordPress is a plus but totally *not* required we will train you.
I am looking for professional calibre work here folks. I have posted jobs on jobsdb and jobstreet and received nothing but rank amateurs.
Here are the requirements (these are non negotiable)
- Must have Advanced CSS knowledge (portfolios of your work please)
- Must have strong understanding of Typography for the web, and understand that typography is *not* the choice of fonts!
- Must have incredibly strong attention to detail
- Must understand what is meant by 'pixel perfect'
- Must be able to coordinate with other members of the team via skype/chat
- Must *love* web design (after all the job has to be fun or what's the point!)
- Must have their own computer to work from home and be able to test on a Windows box (as dreary as that is, sadly its a must. LOL)
- Must be able to communicate in English, strong English language skills!!!
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to document their code
- Must, must, must be available for immediate start
This is a freelance position, however we have loads of work both inhouse and clients. You will be expected to work everyday. We actually have acces to enough work to triple the size of the company but I am holding expansion back as I would rather build from strength to strength. We currentlt turn down 90% of the work that comes our way and still have more work than we can handle.
Time off can be taken as/when needed providing that you give advance notice and respect deadlines (In otherwords, act professional, deon't leave us hanging and you can pretty much set your own schedule)
Salary: Negotiable, if you can prove your worth it I'll pay it. Long term income potential is virtually unlimited. As the company grows and you prove your worth and reliability you will be paid accordingly.
Salary will be a daily rate, as I said , expect to work every day. Payment will be by Bank deposit or paypal, whichever is preferred on the 15th and 30th of the month.
