Hey all, I just found this interesting little project:

http://omegadrivers.net/

I know the webpage sucks, so for all you people either too lazy or too disgusted to read that page it looks like 3D-drivers for boosting your 3D-performance in Linux.

Any daring souls that tried 'em?

They are windows only unfortunately. They take the official drivers and adjust the internal, normally hidden from the user, settings to enable features / improve performace. Unfortunately windows drivers can include code that adjusts, read turns down, the settings for specific benchmarks to improve performance. The omega, and other tweaked, drivers turn this sort of thing off.

You can get more info if you select "ATI Radeon" then "Omega FAQ" on the menu bar under the banner. Sorry.

Ah, my bad then, I was under the impression it was for Linux and Windows. =/ Well, that's what you get for not checking up stuff properly, although the person that gave me that link is quite the Linux user... Oh well.

Thanks anyhow.
