Hi.

Last week i attempted to install some software on my computer (on ubuntu) and i edited a couple of files now i can't update ubuntu.

I get 2 error messages

1. Not all updates can be installed.
- i select partial update
2.Could not calculate the upgrade

An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.

This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

This is most likely a transient problem, please try again later.

---

How can i resolve this issue. i don't remember what files i edited to reverse the damage.
