i was offline for 10 days waiting for a new modum. haven't used open office for several days tho i did at first during that period.

now on all my desktop documents, open office has added a section with 'New Theme...' in a bubble at the top and then a menu of choices. this takes up 1/3 of my space for working. there is no quit button that i can find.

it goes away if i click the 'edit file' icon but that puts me in '(read-only)'.

maybe i initiated this, i don't know. can anyone tell me how to get it to quit?

i am very ignorant but capable of learning :P

thanks-- i didn't know about the wiki. will study up.....

what i need is to make the entire menu go away. i don't know how it got there and have examined every button on the pages to see where it came from. anyone know how to call up the 'new theme' section(backgrounds/bullets/homepage/my theme/new theme/rulers/sounds)? that would tell me how to get rid of it.
