I updated my Ubuntu a couple of days ago. Since I only use the Ubuntu part of my computer during the school year, It definitely had some update from the last time i used it in April. After updating I was asked to restart and when i did a got a message.

"udevadm trigger is not permitted while configured
Gave up waiting for root device. common problem
- Boot arg (cat /proc /cmdline)........."

and so on

I booted into another kernel and tried some update that went

"sudo update-initramfs -u -k 2.6.32-24-generic-pae"

and it still didn't work pls what do i do?
