View Full Version : [SOLVED] Occasional Horizontal Lines In Video Playback

Hello,

I'm experiencing occasional flickering of horizontal lines during DVD playback. Another thread suggested turning off the de-interlacing but it is already turned off and turning it on doesn't change anything.

I have an AMD 64x2 4200+ with 3GB RAM running Ubuntu 9.10 64 with on board nVidia 6150SE video.

It doesn't seem to matter which player I use (MPlayer, Movie Player, VLC, etc.), so I'm wondering if it may be some sort of video configuration problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Todd

I have this same GPU. Perhaps disable Sync to Vblank under video settings int the nvidia control panel.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it...but it didn't work. Any other suggestions?
