I have a nvidia 9600 gt video card with a blown out capacitors and some bulging. On top of the capacitor it reads FZ87 1500 6.3v. It reads nothing on the sides. The capacitor is a full metal body one. Where can I get a compatible or similar capacitor? What are the specifics of the capacitor i should get? I have no knowledge of this kind of electronics but I do know how to solder.

Popped capacitors usually means there is another problem, possibly heat related. Most of the time on-line you need to buy several of them from an on-line retailer. I would ask the local Radio-Shack if you have one.
I once had a Dell monitor that went bad with popped capacitors, turned out it was a common problem with that monitor and found some one on ebay that was selling a package containing three capacitors, a resistor and one other part along with a description on how to fix the exact problem I had with the monitor.
Check ebay, or a local shop like Radio Shack.
