View Full Version : Wireless Problem with encrypted SSIDs

September 5th, 2010, 09:42 PM
With Ubuntu 9.04 installed, encrypted wireless SSIDs worked fine. After upgrading to 10.04 LTS connection to an encrypted wireless SSID works only once in a while. Unencrypted SSIDs work every time. I have followed "HOW TO post a Wireless Issue" and the results are in the attached ODT file. I would appreciate any help to resolve this problem with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I am not too experienced, but I can usually follow directions.
Thank you. Art

Reran $ dsmeg without limiting search to my wireless module and go the following message:

ERROR!!! RRTMCancelTimer failed, Timer hasn't been initialized!

Could someone please take a look at this, and tell me what needs to be done now. Thank you.
