Hi All

I have duel booted my computer with Ubuntu 10.4. and looking to move away from Vista. I need to gain a bit of experience first and one of the first things I need to know is how to use remote connection. I have searched Google and only seem to find answers on how to remote desktop into a Ubuntu/Linux machine. I need to remote connect to my works site and was also wondering if this is safe and what software to use.

Cheers

I assume your level of knowledge is still rather basic? (sorry ... but I have to ask -- it would be pointless if I suggest things to you which you would not be able to understand ...)

In that case please try this:
