Hi people, I'm new to Ubuntu and still trying to figure out most of the things.
I just installed Audacity and as soon as it's done installing all sounds (speakers and headphones) go off. As soon as I delete Audacity and reboot everything works fine again.
Do you know what is the problem and how to fix it?

Sounds like audacity is locking the soundcard and not sharing with pulse. Make sure your settings are correct in 'Sound Preferences'

Thanks! But what do you mean by "settings are correct" in Sound Preferences? What are the correct settings? I tried about every possible constellation and it still doesn't work.
