Knoppix 5 can write to NTFS?

Did anyone try writing to NTFS using Knoppix 5.0?

I am confused. I can write to NTFS discs under ubuntu too. Do you mean they do it natively.. "right out of the box" so to speak?

I use fuse and ntfsprogs to do it per a How to here on the forums. It seems to work fine. I moved a 700+mb avi file this morning with no issues.
