I wanted to play some games on my notebook however its pretty old with GMA950. Playable ones are mostly based on quake3 engine and use /dev/dsp sound or sth. I've found about padsp to emulate sound in lucid and maverick(thats the one i'm using) but it doesn't work for me:

------- sound initialization -------
Sorry but your soundcard can't do this

I have intelHDA onboard:

Intel Corporation N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
Is there any other solution?
