Hello fellow Ubuntu users I am having a problem with my RGB output.
Computer: 2008 HP Pavilion dv6000
RAM: 3GB
CPU: 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Graphics card: Nviia GeForce 8400M GS
Memory: 512MB
Firstly, I AM NOT A NOOB TO UBUNTU!
So please offer info to my problem and not leave a comment saying "I hate noobs blah blah blah..." that doesn't help and doesn't contribute to the Ubuntu ideal.
I plug in the projector and press fn key+F4 the screen will show up and be smooth for a little bit, but then it will freeze up my computer. This happened to me during a presentation and was quite embarrassing. I haven't tried using my S-Cable output. I think it is a driver problem with Nvidia. If you have any help I would appropriate it.
